Table Linen Information
Quality and attention to detail:
To ensure quality worthy of being an heirloom for your family, all work is done by hand. I start with raw, heavy, 100% cotton canvas, I then cut, measure, hand- stretch, prime and hem all of my own canvases. I use artist quality acrylic paints and latex paint, (not craft paints). Coasters are made with a 100% acid free hardboard support, with a protective backing to safeguard your table top. To achieve the translucent layered effects and patinas my work is known for, it often takes many, many coats of color which is very labor and time intensive. I finish each piece with several coats of non-yellowing acrylic sealer for the ultimate in protection against dirt, wear and tear. They are very easy to clean up--just wipe with a soft damp cloth. Each piece is signed and dated. As you can see, quality is my mainstay!
**Please note that our table
runners/toppers are not designed to drape over the edge of the table; they should
lay flat on the table top to the table edge, or slightly smaller than the table
top. Measure your actual table surface to find the correct size for you.
If you find your table surface is in between two sizes of runners, go with the
smaller size, or request a custom size. This makes them different than traditional runners (and
another reason that makes them so special!)
